Healing Our World

Dr. Mary Ruwart, a Libertarian candidate for the Presidency in 2008, has written this book and made it available freely online as an eBook.  It describes very well the problems that we face today as a result of our own aggression through the advocacy of government force, and provides real-world solutions.  I highly recommend it!

What Makes a Good Congressman?

The job description, powers, and procedural functions are described in Article I of the US Constitution. In addition, Congressmen take the following oath when entering office:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter.

A good Congressman would be one who would make good on this oath and following the procedures outlined for them in Article I of the US Constitution.

Ron Paul - The High Tide

Even though he's unlikely to win the Republican Party's nomination at this point in time, Ron Paul is the greatest presidential candidate we've seen in our lifetime because his words carry tremendous amounts of truth.  His candidacy has cured the apathy of millions by waking them up to the message of freedom and limited government, and the "Ron Paul Revolution" will continue well beyond the presidential election of 2008.
